To Find :-

number of tiles required to cover the floor.If the cost of one tile is ru.40,find the total cost of tiles?

Solution :-

7 m = 700 cm

6 m = 600 cm

Area of room = l × b

=> 700 × 600

=> 420000 cm²

Area of tile = side²

=> (21)²

=> 441 cm²

No. of tiles = 420000/441

No. of tiles = 952

Cost = No. of tiles × Rate

Cost = 952 × 40

Cost = 38080
