Given,

  • Length of Room = 7m = 700cm
  • Breadth of Room = 6m = 600cm
  • Side of Square Tiles = 21cm
  • The Cost Of Tiles ₹40 per Tiles.

To Find,

  • The Total Number of Tiles.
  • The Total Cost of Tiling the Room.

Solution,

Length of Room = 700cm

Breadth of Room = 600cm

Side of Square Tiles = 21cm

Number of Tiles = Area of Room / Area of Tile

→ Number of Tiles

= (Length × Breadth)/(Side × Side)

→ Number of Tiles

= (700cm × 600cm)/(21cm × 21cm)

Number of Tiles = 952 Tiles (approx.)

The Cost of Tiles = 40/Tile

→ The Total Cost of Tiles = 952 × ₹40/Tile

The Total Cost of Tiling is 38080

Required Answer,

The Total Cost of Tiling is ₹38080.

Solution:

Side of square = 250 m

Perimeter of square = 4 x side

= 4 x 250 = 1000 m

Since, cost of fencing of per meter = Rs. 20

Therefore, cost of fencing of 1000 meters = 20 x 1000 = Rs. 20,000
