let the length of 4 cut of rope Be x according to the question 4 x + 3.7 = 5.3 = 4 x is equal to 5.3 - 3.7 therefore x = 0.4 m .now we have to change it in centimetre so we have to divide 100 with 0.4 then we obtain 40cm.

A rope is 3.700 cm in four lengts because 3.7 * 100 = 3.700. Plz.. mark as brainliest if it will helpful for u.
