Hi dear

well its very simple

length of the rope = 8.62cm

piece of rope cut from it =4.8cm

rope left = length of the rope -piece of rope cut from it .

8.62-4.8

=3.82m

so the rope left =3.82m

\large{\orange{\overbrace{ \red{ \overbrace{\red{\underbrace \color{blue} {\underbrace \color{lime} {\fcolorbox{magenta}{lime}{\fcolorbox{aqua}{red}{\fcolorbox{pink}{pink}{ \fcolorbox{blue}{pin}{{\bf{{{{\green{Answer}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Length of rope = { \red{ 8.62 \: m}}

Piece of rope cut from it =  { \blue{4.8 \: m}}

Let's find how much rope is left

Length of rope - piece of rope cut from it

{ \pink{8.62 - 4.8}} =  { \purple{3.82}}

So, 3.82 rope is left

 \large{ \boxed{ \color{yellow}{Hope \: it's\: help \: u}}}
