Mass of the rope = 10*(1/2) =5kg
Net force on rope =, 25N
Acceleration = 5m/s^2
Now a point at 6m will have a mass of 4*(1/2) = 2kg behind it. And the tension by it is the only force on 2kg mass but its acceleration is 5.
Tension =5*2=10 N at the point
