mass of rope = 10×0.5 = 5kg
Force = 25N
a = F/m = 25/5 = 5 m/s2

mass of rope remaining after 6m = 4m × 0.5 kg/m = 2kg
a = 5 m/s2
Tension at point 6m from point of application= 2kg × 5 m/s2 = 10N

Tension at that point is 10N

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Force on unit length =FL,

Force on l units of length =(FL)l

Tension at (L−l) length =FL(L−l) .
