It is 4 cm
Here is the solution
Length of rope used to form the rectangle ,=the perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)=2(12+6)=2(18)=36cm
Rope Left =60-36=24cm
So perimeter if hexagon =24cm
Each side =24/6since hexagon has six sides =4cm
Hope I helped u

sarabjitkaur1: Thanku so much
Anonymous: But my answer is for 60cm sorry
Anonymous: If it is 60 m then the answer is u will multiply by 100 while strengths rope left
Anonymous: For yr question if it is 60 m then the answer will be 6000-36=5964 so the hexagon side s Wil be 994cm each side.

Answer:

4cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of first piece = 2(12+6)

= 36 cm

Length of second piece = 60-36

= 24cm

A hexagon has six sides

So each side = 24/6 = 4cm
