A round brass bar is 5m long and 14mm in radius, calculate its volume in cm^3

Answer:

Volume of brass bar = 3080 cm³

length = 5m = 500 cm

radius = 14 mm = 1.4 cm

therefore. \: volume \: of \: brass \: bar =  \\ =  \pi {r}^{2} h \\  = \frac{22}{7}  \times ( {1.4})^{2}  \times 500 \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 1.96 \times 500 \\  = 22 \times 0.28 \times 500 \\  = 3080 \:  {cm}^{3}
