the train takes 10 hr to cover 1200 km at a uniform speed, hence the velocity is,

v = (1200 km /10 hr) = (1200/10) (km/hr) = 120 km/h

also, 120 km/h = 120 * (1000 m) / (3600 s) = 120*1000/3600 m/s = 33.34 m/s
