A rubber band on stretching expands and comes to normal position after leaving if stretched very hard it may break. It satisfies all properties of a solid so a rubber band is called a solid .

A rubber band change its shape on stretching but it is solid. this happens because the pressure is applied on the band which makes it to change the shape and it gain its original shape when released. so, it is solid
