a rubberand can change its shape on shetching.will classify it as solid or not .justify your answer

We can say it as solid.
It changes it shape when it is stretched  but when we leave giving force, the restoring force works on it and then it gets its original shape.

rubber band stretches, but all particles are still bonded to each others.  The particles do not flow out , unlike a fluid.
On relaxation of force, the original shape is regained back.

so that is a solid.
