a runner is running around a rectangular track with length 50m and wide 20m he takes 2 rounds around the track and takes total 100 sec to run find the average speed and average velocity of the runner

Answer: Circumference of rectangle = 2(50 meters) + 2(20 meters) = 100 meters + 40 meters = 140 meters. Travels around rectangle 2 times = 2(140 meters) = 280 meters.
