distance covered = 100 + 50 = 150m

displacement occurred = 100 + (-50) = 50m

total time taken = 10 + 30 = 40s

Average speed = distance covered/total time taken = 150/40 = 3.75m/s

Average velocity = displacement occurred = 50/40 = 1.25m/s
