A runner's average speed is 5 km/h.
How much time will he take to cover a distance of 18 km?​

Speed = 5 m/s

Time = 1 m 40 sec = 100 sec (now both variables have the unit of seconds)

Equation: Speed (S) = Distance (D) / Time (T)

Now, fill in your variables:

S = D / T

5 m/s = D / 100 s

D = 5 m/s * 100 s

D = 500 m

The runner was able to go 500 meters in the given time. A good pace for a normal person.
