ATQ , x = 2y
after 8 years,
x+8/y+8=7/4
cross multiplying,
4x + 32 = 7y + 56
we get ,
4x-7y=24
putting x =2y in the above equation,
8y-7y = 24
y = 24 years
so x will be = 2y = 48 years
