Answer:

Let the income of B be 100.

Given that A's income is 25% more than that of B.

⇒ Income of A = 100 + 25% of 100

                         = 100 + (25/100) * 100

                         = 125.

Now,It clearly shows that B's income is less than that of A by 25.

⇒ % of B = (25/125) * 100%

               = (1/5) * 100%

               = 20%.

Therefore, B's income is 20% less than A's income.

Hope it helps!

Shortcut formula:

Required % = (25)/(100 + 25) * 100

                    = (25/125) * 100

                    = (1/5) * 100

                    = 20%.

Hope it helps!
