Income of A and B be X and Y resp.

GIven : (Y-X)/Y = 30% or 70% Y = X

i.e X/Y = 7/10

To find : (Y-X)/X % or (Y/X - 1) %

= 10/7 - 1 = 0.4285 or 42.85%

therefore y = A +30

y-30 = a

therefore B's income is 30% less than of A
