Answer

Let the income of C be Rs. 100

Income of B = 100 × (60/100) = 60

Income of A = 60 × (160/100) = 96

C’s income more than that of A by = 100 – 96 = 4

C’s income more than that of A by (in %) = 4/96 × 100 = 4.16% in approx 4.2%

∴ The required answer will be 4.2%.

Step-by-step explanation:

"Let B's income be ₹100

Then A's income = ₹160

If a's income is ₹160 , then B's income = ₹100

if a's income is ₹100 , then B's income = 100/160 × 100

= ₹62.50

  • B's income is less than A's income by (100 - 62.50) = 37.5%"
