Solution :-

let B's expenditure be 100

then

A's expenditure is 70 and

A's income is 75

therefore

A's savings is 5,

B's income is 125

hence savings 25, ratio 1:5

ratio will be 1:5

The ratio of A’s savings to B’s savings would be 1:5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the income of B = 100

Then, income of A would be = 60% of 100 = 60

Also A's income = 60 = 70% of B's expenditure

∵ B's expenditure = \frac{60}{75} * 100 = 80

Savings of B = 20(100(income) - 80(expenditure))

As we know,

Expenditure of A = 70% of B's expenditure

Then, expenditure of A = 70/100 * 80

                                        = 56

Svaings of A = 60 - 56 = 4

Ratio of savings of A and B = 4:20

                                               = 1:5
