As A's present age is 4 yr more than B's age

Let A's age = x

So B's age = x - 4

After 6 years

A's age = x + 6

B's age = x - 4 + 6 = x + 2

Sum of ages = 70

x + 6 + x + 2 = 70

2x + 8 = 70

2x = 62

x = 31 years

Present age of B = 31 - 4 = 27 years

which is your Answer
