Let x be the salary of A.

Then,by question,we get

x+(x-30%×x)+{x-30%×x-(40℅×x-30℅×x)}=7680

or x+x-30/100×x+x-30/100×x-40/100×x+30/100×x=7680

Using this equation you can find the solution.

Guess this will help you.
