Let Salary of A be =x, Salary of B be =y

Net effect after changes in A

s salary

=40 −50 - 50×40/100

= -8

Net effect after changes in B,s salary

=50−40− 40×50/100

= 12

i.e. B's Salary 90% of y

ATQ

x= 112/100y⇒ x/y = approx . = 9:10

hope it helps you

=

10

9

Required ratio =10:9.
