A)Sabu's age is 7 times his son's age so the age of  Sabu is 7x.

B) After 8 years the age of Sabu is 7x+8

After 8 years the age of Sabu's son is x+8

C) If after 8 years the age of Sabu is 3 time his son's age then:

7x+8=3(x+8)

7x+8=3x+24

7x-3x=24-8

4x=16

x=4

The relation will be 7x+8=3(x+8) after solving we get the age of son at present is 4.

And also from B, we have

Sabu's age after 8 years = (7x + 8) years

3x + 24 = 7x + 8

7x - 3x = 24 - 8

4x = 16

x = 16/4

x = 4 years

Hence, Son's present age = 4 years

Sabu's present age = 7 x 4 = 28 years.
