The target sales for this month is "RS. 87,500".

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The target sales for previous month  = RS. 70,000,

A sales manager asked his them to increase the sales by 25 percentage over previous month's sales.

The target sales for this month  = ?

∴ The target increase for this month = \dfrac{(70,000 × 125)}{100}

=  RS.  700 × 125 = RS. 17,500

The target sales for this month = RS. 70,000 + RS. 17,500 = RS. 87,500

Hence, the target sales for this month is "RS. 87,500".
