commission upto 10000 = (10000 * 9 ) / 100 = 900

Again after 10000,

Commission : Bonus

9 : 3

3x : x

Bonus = (1380 - 900) * (1/4) = Rs.120

"Commission up to 10000 = (10000 x 9) divided by 100 = 900

Let the number be x.

Again after 10000,

Commission: Bonus

9       :   3

3x: x

Therefore,   Bonus = (1380 – 900) × 14 = Rs. 120

Hence the total bonus with the 3 per cent excess of the sale will be Rs 120.
