Total Weight in Bag = 6 + 2 + 2.5 + 3.4   = 13.9 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Weight of Machine  = W

Weight of a machine  =  3 + W/2

=> W = 3 + W/2

=> W/2 = 3

=> W = 6

Weight of a machine  =  6 kg

Weight of  repair tool for the machine  = 1/2  +  W/4

= 1/2 + 6/4

= 2  kg

Weight of  The personal stuff  = 4  - W/4

= 4 - 6/4

= 10/4

= 5/2

= 2.5 kg

Weight of Supplies = (2/5)( W  + 2.5)

= (2/5)(6 + 2.5)

= (2/5)(8.5)

= 3.4 kg

Total Weight in Bag = 6 + 2 + 2.5 + 3.4   = 13.9 kg
