A saline water solution contains 50 grams of salt dissolved in 400 grams of water. calculate the consertration of the solution in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution​

Mass of solute = 50g

mass of solvent = 350g

mass of solution = 50 + 350 = 400g

mass by mass% = mass of solute / mass of solution

mass by mass = 50/400 * 100

= 100/8

= 12.5%
