A salt has solubility 80 and 160 respectively at 20°C
and 60°C. Catculate mass of crystal formed on cooling
50gm saturated solution from 60°C to 20°C.​

sing formula

solubility of solute =

×100

or 50=

weightofsolventinsaturatedsolutio

90gm

×100

so weight of solvent in saturated solution =

50

90gm

×100=180gm

Hence 180 gm of water is required to prepare a saturated solution.
