GIVEN => Selling price = ₹540

Discount percent = 10% = 100 - 10 = 90%

TO FIND => Marked price of the salwar kurta

SOLUTION :-

To find the marked price, formula :-

\dfrac{Selling \: price}{Discount \: percentage}

\therefore{} \dfrac{540}{90} × 100 = \dfrac{6}{1} (As divided by 9) × 100

=> ₹600

\therefore{} The marked price is ₹600

\huge{Answer}

 <u> given </u>

selling price (SP) = ₹540

10% discount on market price = 100-10 = 90%

we know that market price =

 \frac{selling \: price}{discount \: percentag}

 \frac{540}{90} × 100

= 6 × 100

= ₹600

hence the market price is ₹ 600

hope it helps you
