Standard\ error = \frac{deviation}{\sqrt {100}}

= \frac{1.2}{\sqrt{100}}

= \frac{1.2}{10}

= 0.12 Kg

Confidence \ interval = Mean \pm 1.96\times standard \ error

= 100 \pm 1.96\times 0.12

= 99.7648 kg

95% confidence limit for the population mean is 99.7648 kg
