A sample of helium gas has a volume of 500 centimeter cube and 373kelvin . Calculate the temp at which the volume becomes 260 centimetre cube.If the pressure is constant.

Hey there !!!!!

PV=nRT 

at constant pressure 

Volume is directly proportional to temperature .

Initial Volume = 500  Temperature =273K

Final Volume = 260  Final temperature = t K

initial volume/final volume = initial temp/final temp 

500/260 =273/t

t=273*260/500

t=141.96 K
