A sample of hydrated sodium phosphate has a mass of 190 g. Of this, 108 g is the mass of water of crystalisation. What is the molar mass of the hydrated sodium phosphate ?

Hey, buddy you must be asking the no. of Moles, as Molecular mass remains Same that is 164 grams

Here's soln. to no. of Moles

Mass of Hydrated salt = 190g
Mass of Water = 108g
Therefore, Mass of salt in Soln. = 190-108g
= 82g

No. of Moles = Mass of substance/ Molecular mass

=82/164
= 1/2
=0.5 moles

So, there are 0.5 Moles of Salt in the Hydrated mixture
