in 100 gm of starch molecule will contain .86 gm of phosphorus

given 1atom of phosphorus is contaoned in one molecule.

therefore Na(avagadro no) of phosphorus will also contain Na molecule or 1mole which corresponds to molecular mass.

.86 gm of phosphorus equal to 100 gm of molecule

31 gm corresponds to 100×31/.86=3604.5gm

average molecular mas=3604.5
