Answer:

Gas constant is the value is 0.0821 L.atm.K−1.mol−1

applying PV=nRT

n=mass of substance/molecular mass of substance

n=0.5g / molecular mass of gas

Putting values in equation

1×1.12=0.5 g / molecular mass of gas× 0.0821 L.atm.K−1.mol−1×273.15

Molecular mass=1×1.120.5×0.0821×273.15=10.5 g
