a sample of water under study was found to boil at 102 degree celcius at normal temperature and pressure. Is the water pure? Will this water freeze at 0 degree celcius? comment....

We know that the boiling point of pure water is 100° C. Thus if a sample of water at normal temperature and pressure boils at 102° C, then it is not pure. Also, since the given sample is not pure, therefore it will not freeze at 00 C (freezing point of pure water) but at a lower temperature.
