area of saree =6m ×1.2 m=7.2 m sqr.

border=30cm =0.3m

saree with the border:-

length=6+0.3+0.3m=6.6m

breath=1.2+0.3+0.3=1.8m

area of saree with border=6.6×1.8=11.88 m sqr.

area of border= 11.88-7.2=4.68m sqr =46800cm sqr

rate of printing =RS . 1/100 cm sqr.

cost of printing =RS. 1/100×46800

=Rs. 468
