a satellite goes around the earth in a circular orbit with constant speed .is the motion uniform or accelerated ? give reasons.

Reason:
Acceleration depends on velocity. Velocity has magnitude and direction. Satellite is moving with uniform SPEED but it’s direction of motion is changing at each point. Hence velocity changes. If velocity is changing then it means the motion is accelerated. As by definition acceleration is rate of change of velocity.
