Answer:

1047.1975 km/h

Explanation:

Distance = Circumference of the orbit = 2\pi r = 2 \pi *4000 = 2 * 3.14 * 4000 = 25132.74 km

Time = One day = 24 h

Speed = Distance/ Time

           = 25132.74/ 24

           = 1047.1975 km/h

Let the satellite moving in circular orbit of radius be 4000km

Radius of circular orbit “r”

Time taken by artificial satellite t = 24hr

Distance covered by satellites s = circumference of circular orbit

                                                        = 2\pir

                                                        = 2 * 22/7 *4000

                                                     s = 25142.85 km

Now,

Speed = Distance / Time

v = s/t

v = 25142.85 / 24

v =  1047.61 km/hr

              OR

v = 291.002 m/s
