The answer is 60.75 gmL

GIVEN

A saturated solution of ammonium chloride at 353 K contains 234 g of salt in 400 g of water.

TO FIND

The solubility of the salt at 353 K.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

Mass of salt = 234 grams

Mass of Water = 400 grams

Total mass of solution = Mass of solvent + Mass of solute

= 634 grams

Solubility = (Mass of solute/Mass of solute)×100

= (234/400)×100

= 60.75

Hence, The answer is 60.75 g mL
