A saturated solution of calcium hydroxide contains 0.56g/100mL of solution. Calculate the
molarity of the solution (round off to 3 decimal places)?​

weight of Ca(OH)2= 40+2x17= 40+34= 74gm.

Number of moles present in 100ml of the solution= 0.56/74 =0.007567 mol

Therefore, 0.007567mol is present in 100 ml of the solution, in I Litre(1000 ml) of the solution (0.007567 x 1000)/100 = 7.567/100= 0.07567 mol.
