Let,

"x" → represents the cost of one tie

then according to the question,

"(x + 90)" → will represent the cost of one scarf

Also, we have that 5 scarves and 3 ties together cost Rs. 3730, so we can form an eq. as,

$5(x + 90) + 3x = 3730$

⇒ $5x + 450 + 3x = 3730$

⇒ $8x + 450 = 3730$

⇒ $8x = 3730 - 450$

⇒ $8x = 3280$

⇒ $x = \frac{3280}{8}$

⇒ $\bold{x = 410}$

Thus, the cost of one tie is Rs. 410.
