a school auditorium is 50 m long and 30 m wide the auditoruim is surrounded by a verandah 5 m wide on outside of it . find the area of verandah if tiles of 50 multiplies b 50 cm are fixed on the verandah how many tiles will be required

★area with auditorium 50×30=1500sqm

★area of varenda =900sq.m

★no of tiles needed =

$\frac{900 \times 100 \times 100}{(50 \times 50)} = 3600$
