A school campus is rectangular in shape. Its length and breadth are 50 m and
30 m, respectively. There is a 2 m wide path inside the campus all around it.
Find the area of the path in square metres.

Area of EFGH = length (EH) × breadth (EF)

Area of path = 1500 – 1196 = 304 m2.
