We know that a total of Rs. 1,22,500 was collected. Now:
 let there be 'x' students. Therefore, as per question,
                  each student pays Rs. 'x.'
                  Total money collected = Rs. x*x
                                                      = Rs.  x^{2}
Therefore:
                              x^{2} = 122500
                                                    x =  \sqrt{122500}
                                                    x = 350
So,
     i) there are 350 students in the school and each paid Rs. 350.
     ii) The school and its students depicted values of generosity and kindness towards the leprosy patients and displayed their sense of brotherhood and humanity.
