Answer:

Given,

Amount Collected by School from every Student = Rs2601.

Amount Paid by Each Student = Number of Students.

Let,

Number of Students in a School = 'x'

Fee paid by each Student = 'Rsx'

To Find :-

How Many students were there in School?

Solution :-

As,

Number of Students in a School = 'x'

Fee paid by each Student = 'Rsx'

\sf\implies Amount Collected by All the Students = x \sf\times x = x²

According to question :-

2601 = x²

x = \sf\sqrt{2601}

x = \sf\sqrt{(51\times 51)}

x = \sf\sqrt{(51)²}

x = 51

\sf\therefore Number of Students in the School = x = 51.

Know More :-

  • If a , b , c are any three positive integers and a² + b² = c² then a , b , c are called Pythagorean Triplet.

  • The Product of two same number is called as Square.
