And  the amount of cash prize for truthfulness = Rs y

Then ATQ,x+y=400     .....(1)

x−y=40     .....(2)

From 1+2,

2x=440

x=220

putting x=220 in 1, we get

y=180

Cash prize for punctuality = Rs 220

Cash prize for truthfulness=Rs 180

As, the cash prize for punctuality is more so I would like to be awarded by prize for punctuality.
