A school has 8 periods a day each of 45 minutes duration. How long would each

period be, if the school has 9 periods a day, assuming the number of school hours

to be the same ?​

total number of periods before = 8

x= 8*45

x =360 min

if periods will increase to 9 from 8 and the school hrs are same then the duration of 1 period = 360min /9 = 40min

there fore the duration of one period will be 40 min
