the perimeter of the shaded portion and the area of non-shaded Portion = 66 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

PQRS is the Diameter of the circle of radius 10.5cm

=> PS = 2 * 10.5 = 21 cm

PQ, QR, RS, are Equal.

PQ + QR + RS = 21

=> PQ = QR = RS = 7 cm

Area of Complete Circle = π (21/2)²

= (22/7) * 21 * 21/4

= 346.5 cm²

Area of Semi circle = 346.5/2 = 173.25 cm²

Area of shaded portion = Area of Semi circle   - area of Semi circle (7 cm radius) + Area of Semi circle (radius 3.5 cm)

173.25 cm²  - (1/2)(22/7)7²  + (1/2)(22/7)(7/2)²

= 173.25  - 77  + 19.25

= 115.5 cm²

area of non-shaded Portion = 346.5 - 115.5

= 231 cm²

Perimeter of Shaded portion = top Semi circle  + top Semi Small circle + +Bottom Semi  small circle

= (1/2) * 2 π ( 10.5 + 7  + 3.5)

= (22/7)(21)

= 66 cm

Perimeter of non Shaded portion = bottom Semi circle  + top Semi Small circle + +Bottom Semi  small circle

=  (1/2) * 2 π ( 10.5 + 7  + 3.5)

= 66 cm

importance of a Scholar's batches for students is the encourgament & appreciation of students
