Let the number of boys be x

Find the number of girls in term of x:

11.11% of x = 0.1111x

Find the number of boys:

x + 0.1111x = 700

1.1111x = 700

x = 630

Find the number of girls:

Girls = 11.11% of 630 = 0.1111 x 630 = 70

Answer: There are 70 girls

Q: A school has the student population 700. The number of girls is 11.11% of number of boys. How many girls are there in the school ?
____________________________________

Total population of students = 700

Let the number of boys be x

Number of girls = 11.11 % of x = 1111/(100×100) =0.1111 x

A/q

=> x + 0.1111x = 700
=> 1.1111 x = 700
=> x = 700/1.111 = 630

Hence,
Number of boys = 630
Number of girls = 11.11% of 630
= 70 girls ans.
