1.what will be the number of teachers for 300 students?

1. Corresponding to 300 students there will be 40 teachers

2. Corresponding to 20 teachers there will be 150 students.

Therefore number of teachers =2x  ,and

number of students =15x.

1. Number of students =300, that is 15x=300

   ⇒x=20

  hence number of teachers =2x=2(20)=40.

2. Number of teachers =20, that is 2x=20

    ⇒x=10

   hence number of students =15x=15(10)=150.
